The play charts their epic love story againt political and economic dictatorship. The play originally premiered in a German-language production at ARTheater in Cologne, Germany under the direction of Marcy Arlin.

Meet the Author

Caridad Svich is a US playwright-translator-lyricist and editor of Cuban-Argentine-Spanish-Croatian descent whose works have been staged across the US and abroad including at Denver Theatre Center, Mixed Blood, Cincinnati Playhouse, 7 Stages, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Teatro Mori (Chile). She has been shortlisted three times for the PEN Award in Drama. She is founder of NoPassport theatre alliance and press, and associate editor of Contemporary Theatre Review.
