Originally published under the pen name "Tex Burns, " this is the fourth of the Hopalong Cassidy novels, a rousing tale of the famed gunslinger's search for the coldblooded killers who murdered his friend. Its swift action, hard-fought justice and frontier courage are telling reminders of the talent and timelessness of L'Amour's tales of the Old West. HC: Bantam (Western)

I really enjoyed this book. I've read all the Hopalong books from Louis L'Amour. I'd recommend all of them. Nobody can beat his descriptions of the scenery.
