Intriguing and fast paced plot, great follow-up to the first book, disappointing and anticlimactic ending. Not even a cliffhanger, just ends abruptly. Poorly constructed ending brings book from five stars down to three.

I guess there wont be a part three the way the book ended. A little mad, Cause i dig the characters. Who died at the end?? Shiji or sister..i guess they ran out of ideas. And then took us back to the first book! Come on cant run out of ideas if it was getting good. But the book was good. Ended comment just like the book did lol.

I loved the first book and LOVED the second one even more. Each page had me eager to get to the next. I can't wait till the 3rd one !

This was a really great follow up to Power and Beauty, however, the ending kind of just came so suddenly. A definite classic page turner so I still give it 4 stars.
