I don't find bad parenting all that funny...

On a positive note, this book is well written with good grammar and excellent descriptions. The dialogue is witty and it is a pretty fast paced story that does not drag.

On the down side, I found much of the humor fell flat because it relied too heavily on the exploits of Harry's five horrible, ill-mannered children. Plum and Harry adopt a happy-go-lucky attitude that while "our little devils are truly awful, they're good children at heart". It exemplifies the very worst in permissive parenting. Maybe I'm taking this too seriously since it's only a romance novel, but it's my opinion. Take it or leave it.

Loved it. All three books are great from the Noble Series. Can't wait for another one.

    Funny

Wow, fast-paced and relatively funny but felt it relied too much on the misbehavior of the kids. Loved dynamic between Harry and Plum.

Ok but not as good as others

It was the 3rd in the series. I loved the other 2 and this was just ok. It barely had any connection to the other 2 stories/characters. It had a few funny parts but a lot was so silly. It had a good basic story but just was very contrived and over the top even for the genre.
