    Omg! Loved this story..

So happy i came across this story. I have read the other stories in this series, you dont really need to read the other stories to read this one. I loved it and was wishing for more. Great job.

    Okay

I love RL, she is a great storyteller. This particular book was not my favorite. It was very reminiscent of Checkmate, just set in the 1800's. She's an independent female stuck in a mans world, and he's an obnoxious Bradford, who enjoys torturing her. It was predictable, and not as entertaining as her other books. That being said, I still love this author and will read anything she publishes, this book is just not my favorite. Bring on the next Pyte/Sentinel book!

    Great Read!

I absolutely loved this book! I don't normally get into historical romances, but once I started this one I couldn't put it down. If you love the other 3 books in this series I would most definitly recommend this book.

    Loved it!!

Another great book by this author! Learning about the original Bradford was great but to understand some of the things that are true traits of a Bradford you need to read the other neighbor from hell books first! You will not be disappointed in any of them!

    you must read!

I love this series! This is how it all began. I would however read the others in order first. Although this is a book of how it all began, it does refer to the characters in the previous books. So in order not to be confused that's where you need to start reading. I am not much into the era in which this book is written in, but I enjoyed reading it. It shows once again how love is worth it all. I highly recommend this book. It has the same antics as the others do, you will be laughing and crying at the same time. True love story. If you have read the first 3 books in this series you will not be disappointed in this one. i hope there are more to come.

    Love this series

This is a great series. I really got to see the beginning of the Bradford family was exciting, seeing Elizabeth and Robert go from enemy to lovers then happy couple.

I really wish there were more Bradford books. This family is too funny to stop here.

Oh how I love the Bradford boys! Truce was much what you would expect from a book in the Neighbor from Hell series. It was funny and infuriating as you just wanted to smoosh Elizabeth and Robert’s heads together and tell them to kiss and play nice. It is a mild historical romance. And by that I mean it is low on historical (good for people who are just testing the historical genre waters) and high on the romance (as is expected from R.L. Mathewson.) It is not my favorite in the series but was a fun read. It was nice to see where it all began.

I absolutely LOVED TRUCE!! This is my favorite of this series. The epilogue and prologue tie it into the rest of the Neighbor From Hell series beautifully, but this can easily be read as a standalone. It ties in perfectly to the way this series has been set up, but it also integrates historical aspects wonderfully, giving it that extra special spark.

I completely loved the build up Elizabeth and Robert's story. The way their story developed took some unexpected twists and turns, and while I believed in my heart they would get their HEA, I was wondering where this wild ride was going to take me next. The combination of Robert and Elizabeth's past with where their present has landed them was so entertaining and so engaging and I couldn't get enough of it. There was excitement, trepidation, heartache, suspense, humor, and passion. The way Mathewson took two characters who hated each other to something else was brilliantly done, and I completely fell in love with them and their story.

I highly recommend TRUCE to anyone who loves a romance filled with humor and passion. This is historical fiction, but it is not overly done for those who aren't huge fans of this genre, but it is well done for those who do like this genre. I love Mathewson's writing and character development, her combination of drama with lots of humor and witty banter, and I could not get enough of this story. It ended perfectly, and when I finished I immediately wanted to read it all over again.

Great book. I was a little nervous reading it because of it being a historical but once I read the first few pages I was hooked and laughing out loud just as much as I have with the rest of the book in this series. I am so ready for the next book!!
