Not every song on this three-disc, 30-track collection it could have easily been a two-disc set, and at 30 tracks, maybe even a single one has to do with truckers and trucking, and while some of the cuts many of which are live tracks do adhere to the theme, selections like Billy Joe Royal's "Down in the Boondocks," which has really nothing to do with trucks, give this anthology a bit of a random feel. There are some trucking songs here, though, including Dave Dudley's classic "Six Days on the Road," Merle Haggard's "Take Me Back to Tulsa," and Carl Perkins' "Dixie Fried" which is really about a truck stop diner, and there are enough of these to give this set the feel of ...
