    Good stories, bad writer

I was looking forward to reading alot of great ghost stories late into the night after buying this book - but unfortunately Holzer's low level of writing skill has made it a chore. He loads each story with unnecessary detail so that the reader must sift through it to get to what actually happened. Many times, the detail added up so that I was utterly confused, and had to read the story 2 or 3 times to understand it. Another problem is that in telling each story, he uses such similar language that one story becomes indistinguishable from another - all stories seem to blend into one!
