Overview

Love, romance, and friendship abound in this three-in-one omnibus edition of Lurlene McDaniel's bestselling inspirational young adult novels, all of which explore the timeless question "Can love survive, now and forever?" I'll Be Seeing YouCarley Mattea never expected to become friends with a boy as handsome as Kyle Westin—especially not in the hospital. His doctors don't know whether he'll get his vision back, and he's deeply depressed. Carley can relate. She's been scarred by a facial deformity, but she's keeping that a secret from Kyle. She's worried that if his bandages are removed and he sees her, it will be the end of their relationship. Carley wants what's best for Kyle. But what will that mean for Carley? Don't Die, My LoveJulie Ellis and Luke Muldenhower describe themselves as "meant for each other." Now in high school, they are deeply in love. Luke is a talented football player and is sure to receive an athletic scholarship to a top college, and Julie intends to follow. When Luke gets a virus, Julie persuades him to see a doctor. The test results are devastating. But Julie believes their love is stronger than anything. Or is it? A Rose for MelindaJesse and Melinda have been friends since the first grade. When Jesse and his mom move to California, he and Melinda bridge the miles with e-mail. When Melinda suddenly falls ill and her plans to become a prima ballerina are shattered, Jesse travels to see her, to be by her side. As their bond grows stronger, Melinda wonders whether she and Jesse can be more than just friends—and whether a new love could be enough to save her.

    Great But Sad!!!

These Stories were really good and really well written but the first story Don't Die, My Love was very sad so make sure you have a klennex box. The second story, I'll be seeing you,was very good not really cry sad just sad, then the thrid one, A rose for Melenda, was sad but not as bad because it was all through e-mails and letters so you didn't get as invovled with the characters. Overall this was great reading just very sad.

This is a great book but kind of emotional, VERY TOUCHING and theaches you that you can over come things. Even when its a hard, there may have been objects in the way but YOU Can OVER COME the HARDEST THINGS. When LIFE hands you lemons make lemonade.

I loved this book, i would soo reread it again. it made me cry a ccouple of times. the first book Don't Die, my love, was very touching. the odd part about it was i had a dream about it with me and my friend(bur my friend didn't go thru what Luke went thru). i thought it was very emotional. At the same time i thought i was vey good,, i couldnt put the book down. The second, I'll be seeing you, teaches you to be your self in public and you don't have to care what people think of you. Just be yourself, is what it's tryying too say. The last book in this novel is a Rose for Melinda , and that one kind if says It;s okay to like your best friend. Melinda's bestfriend liked her since like first grade. And by the end i think she figured out she liked him as well. she knew she couldn't do anything about what had over-come her body. and she was a dancer too. Her bestfriend came and stayed with her for a while her bestfriend and family turned her garage into a dance studio which was kind of motivating. I think Melinda and Jesse's love could have been enough to make her "Feel" like she could over come this, but her body wasn't strong enough to do so. I believe Jesse would have been happy if she dated him because he was like inlove with his bestfriend since like first grade which is sooooooooooooo Sweet. If this was me and one of my friends i would have probably have done the same thing. I would probably have fallen inlove with them too by the end even though my body wouldnt be able to take anything more, I loved how they communiated through email and she said she'd wait for Jesse on the other side. I believe if she did make it thru the bone marrow transplant she would have grown old with her life-long best friend Jesse.
