    Posted from Kwips and Kritiques

When she was fourteen, Trixie Lynn Parks spent one glorious year in Twilight, Texas before her dad ripped her away from the one place that felt like home. Changing her name to Emma, she took off for NYC, determined to make it big on Broadway, but after twelve years of struggling, she finds herself heading back to Twilight, and to her first love, Sam Cheek.

Sam Cheek has grown from quiet, dependable boy to steady, loyal, man. He loves his hometown and thrives on his traditional, predictable life that includes his veterinary practice and his young son. But Trixie Lynn shakes all that up when she returns to town. The chemistry between them burns hotter than ever, but soon Trixie Lynn is faced with a difficult choice: the fame and fortune she's always wanted, or the man she's never forgotten.

I absolutely adored the first Twilight, Texas book, THE SWEETHEARTS' KNITTING CLUB and didn't see how Lori Wilde would ever top it. Well, Ms. Wilde just proved me wrong because THE TRUE LOVE QUILTING CLUB is even better. I read this book in one day, unable to put it down. Even when I tried, I found myself picking it right back up, needing to devour just one more paragraph, one more page, one more chapter of Sam and Trixie Lynn's story.

Sam Cheek is a huge part of this book's fabulousness. Here's a hero who is such a refreshing departure from the Alpha male. He's Steady Sam. Dependable, quiet, traditional. On the outside he doesn't even seem all that assertive. It isn't until the reader gets to know him that we see that under all those brooding good looks lurks a very passionate man. On top of all that, he's a great father to his son, wonderful with animals, and beloved to the whole town.

In Sam's arms, Trixie Lynn finally finds a place to call home, and with Trixie Lynn, Sam discovers a spontaneous, part of himself that makes him realizes he no longer wants to settle for less than true love. The chemistry between them is superbly written, as is the emotion that leaps off every page.

With a fantastic cast of characters that will keep readers smiling, and an emotional, sexy romance between Sam and Trixie Lynn that you can't help but devour from page one, THE TRUE LOVE QUILTING CLUB is everything a contemporary romance should be. I've completely fallen in love with the town of Twilight, Texas and can't wait for more books in this series (pretty please, Ms. Wilde, keep 'em coming!). By Cindy at Kwips and Kritiques

    Another wonderful Lori wilde book

As with each of the other books in the Twilight Texas series Lori has told a story with characters that feel real while also being utterly romantic. The writing sparkles and the characters shine. Loved this book.

The True Love Quilting Club WONDERFUL!!!!

This is another amazing book in this series! (2nd book)
Sam and Trixie Lynn fell in love when they were 14 years old. Circumstances happen and Trixie moves away. She dreams of becoming a star on Broadway and when she is 18 she moves to NY to pursue her dreams. Sam moves on with his life and marries someone with a child. Things don't go well for Trixie and after 12 years she gets the opportunity to come back to Twilight Texas to restart her career in the local theater. Sam and Trixie (now known as Emma) reunite! The flame is still there! They have to overcome their career choices and what they want from life. Emma moves to LA to become a movie star and just when you think this isn't going to happen for them, love finds a way! I really and truly love this book! It is uplifting and the romance is HOT! I am hoping the next book is about Hondo and Patsy! They deserve their own book!

    deep warm contemporary romance

When Emma Parks lived in Twilight, Texas she was called Trixie Lynn Parks. She left town the first chance she got to seek acting fame, but a dozen years later she still is seeking major roles as she kicks gonads refusing to blow them.

She is offered the lead in a production in her hometown. Needing to escape from New York after booting a Broadway director, Emma accepts the role. However, when she and Sam Creek meet, the attraction could light up Texas. Still he is a single dad with responsibility for his six year old son Charlie who has been mute ever since his mom died in Iraq and she still dreams of being a superstar actress. Chemistry needs compromise if this couple is to find consensus in love.

The strong cast makes for a deep warm contemporary romance although the plot has been done many times before. Besides the lead couple, the title club members and Charlie enhance a look at the impact of war on those left behind especially when a loved one dies. Readers will enjoy this Texas romance as Sam knows Charlie's needs and Emma's wishes to be an actress come before his heart's desires.

    Good story

I liked the story. It was a light read but I was looking for a bit more racy plot. This was mildly sexy and great for those readers who aren't into really erotic literature.
