About the Author

Max Ziegfeld is a bi-coastal comedian, lyricist, and producer living with severe ADHD who’s opened for Judy Tenuta, Tom Arnold, Michael Longfellow, and many others. He was a medalist (3rd Place) in the 2022 U.S. Comedy Competition and has appeared in NYC’s Yaaas Queer Comedy Festival, Burbank Comedy Festival, the World Series of Comedy, and Marty Ingels’ Friars’ Club Roast. His music video, “BIGFOOT’S LOVE SLAVE“, won the 2019 LA Comedy Fest Award for Best Music Video and the 2020 Theatermaker’s Song of the Year Award in NYC (original music by Beau Cassidy and directed by Emmy-winner Heather Tom). Max is the creator and lyricist of P*rn AWARDS: THE MUSICAL! — an off-broadway aimed comedy that has appeared on stages in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. A PORN AWARDS concept album, starring Gilbert Gottfried, TONY winners Judy Kaye and Alice Ripley, Judy Tenuta, Garrett Clayton, Christine Pedi, and RuPaul’s Drag Race Queen of Queens’ Jynkx Monsoon, will be out later this year. Max is one of the producers of the Palm Springs Comedy Festival, where he performs a tribute show honoring the borscht belt comics of vaudeville.
