Developing Your Sixth Sense To Create The Life You Desire

Psychic and spiritual guide Sonia Choquette picks up where her landmark book The Psychic Pathway left off in Trust Your Vibes: Secret Tools For Six-Sensory Living. As humans, we are all built with a sixth sense, more commonly referred to as intuition. Our intuition is that subtle voice underneath logic and emotion that, when listened to, helps us understand the right choice in decision-making, the right people to spend time with, and the right places to visit. Trust Your Vibes helps to awaken that sixth sense through the use of everyday practices and concepts that anyone can do.

Choquette advises her readers that their bodies are actually one of the most fundamental tools in trusting their intuition. With proper diet, exercise, and rest, your body serves as an immediate source of feelings and indicators that help to determine what might be beneficial or harmful. Additionally, a peaceful and calm attitude is critical developing your psychic skills. Without this, it becomes almost impossible to hear your inner voice, your Higher Self, and your spiritual guides providing you with intuitive direction. Meditation is recommended as the best way to find that inner peace.

The author discusses various types of energy from positive to negative and is careful to warn against absorbing other people's energy. As the practicing intuitive becomes more aware and empathic, it becomes easy to take on the feelings and emotions of others. Choquette provides a number of tools and exercises that can be used in protecting oneself psychically from these events.

Choquette's concept of intuition is based in spirituality and metaphysics, including the concept of cosmic consciousness, or the idea that we are all spiritual beings of the same source having individual physical experiences. She warns against too much exposure to negativity in the news, violence on television, and profanity. Maintaining a positive attitude and thinking is key to attracting the life you want and the ability to tune into your intuition.

The importance of prayer and getting grounded through intimacy with nature is also stressed. Choquette also recommends finding like-minded individuals with whom you can "talk shop." She discusses the importance of finding others with whom you can share your spiritual experiences in a safe and supportive environment and recommends methods demonstrating how to go about finding those friends.

Living a six-sensory life means no longer having to figure life out. It is so much easier to accept what life offers and create the life you desire when you allow your intuition to be your guide. When you expect the best, appreciate the process, and know that the Universe will always provide an answer to life's most difficult challenges, life is no longer a struggle. In Trust Your Vibes, Sonia Choquette shows you how let your Higher Self and spirit look at your life and provide you with the intuitive, creative ideas and energy to know yourself better, learn to love yourself, and create the life you've always wanted.

    Trust Sonia Choquette

I wish Trust Your Vibes had a different title. It is not a light and trendy book, but a serious spiritual guide by Sonia Choquette. Sixth-sensory people, those who live from the inside out, those who have learned to recognize and use their vibrational energies, will find comfort in this book. Those in the fifth-dimension, people interested in deepening their connection to others, to the unseen but very present reality of energetic and spiritual guidance, will be introduced to an entirely new way of life. This is more than a self-help book; it is critical information for our time. Choquette takes the mystery out of spiritual maturation, naming our development an art. Each chapter offers a different tool to assist us in moving naturally from the fifth to the sixth-dimension. Although some of the information is familiar, this book offers a deeper, more radical perspective than most current books on spiritual growth. Choquette takes your hand and leads you gently from one dimension into the next. I cannot imagine a more intuitive or caring guide.

Want to develop your intuition? Start here!

This is one of the books I always recommend to people when they ask, "Where do I start?" Recently, a friend told me that she had no idea what it means when I'm referring to energy or vibrations. She wasn't sure if she has intuition, or if she's remotely psychically sensitive. I asked her if she has ever walked into a room and felt uncomfortable because there was a vibe, like you just know they've been arguing. She said yes. I asked if she'd ever felt the energy at an athletic event, or the calm and serenity in a holy place. I asked if she'd ever felt sick to her stomach or had a gut feeling about something....she said yes to every question!

Sonia Choquette teaches normal, everyday people how to pay attention to the subtle vibrations of energy that can serve as important resources for living authentically. She explains in such a way that the reader is able to understand the messages they already receive from their bodies - recognition and then interpretation being the keys. I wholeheartedly give this book 5 stars!

    Practical Intuition

My daughter, three years old, walked into the bookstroe and picked this book up, handed it to me and told me it was mine. She said that I should take it home, "It's yours, Mama. You need to take it with you." Demonstrating the very tenets of the book, my daughter's intuition is so alive. Sonia Choquette, reminds us of the connection we have to this sixth sense that comes from looking at the world with the eyes of a child. All we learned since then has blocked us from hearing, seeing and feeling the divine within us and the higher selves we are beyond our bodies. Her stories resonate with all I experience daily and most of all, she highlighted for me why it is necessary to take such good care of the gift we all have. In acknowledging it, we give others a chance to feel the ture love of the universe. We also become more true to oursleves. When we do this, an only when we do this, will we live the life we we were meant to live. Only then will we be joy!

    Great Book! Fun Teacher!

I saw Sonia Choquette at a recent LA event, and was I was so impressed with her joyous approach to all things metaphysical, that I bought her books. I love her approach, and if you need a shot in the arm and boost to your spirit.. read her. Go see her live. Now, because I have so little time to read, I found her CDs so helpful. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her techniques for accessing your own "vibes" so down to earth and doable. I recommend her books and CDs highly! If you're interested other realms, read: "Love From Both Sides - A True Story of Soul Survival and Sacred Sexuality." It's quite funny...

Trusting Your Gut will Pay Off Wonderfully

This is a great book on fine tuning your inner gut sense in life. Like Choquette says ... whales have sonar ... birds have radar ... and people have their sixth sense ... this book is very helpful for those trained out of their inner trusting whether by environment or early childhood experiences. Packed with real life stories to build your resevoir of trust in your own gut sense!

    The Original Sonia Choquette

Sonia Choquette was my first teacher in the psychic arts when in 1996 her book 'The Psychic Pathway' was introduced to me. I read her work, went to a few workshops, and continued to follow her newer material when she began working with Hay House. This is probably one of the last of her great writings. Sadly, Choquette's woo-woo has gotten out of hand. The gift that brought her public recognition isn't what it used to be after this book was released. Now she is all about channeled guides and other far out theories ... no longer sounding like the self that got her where she is today. Sure a writer adapts but Trust Your Vibes is a fantastic last look at the real Sonia before her soul teaching turned into more of keeping up her game than being of service. This happened to other great psychics .... the fame and fortune they craved resulted in loss of accuracy in the end. Get this book and savor the final authenticity of Sonia before she went woo-woo overload and claimed past lives as a rock star on Saturn. I kid you not she said this on her radio show so the evidence is out there.

    This book is fabulous

This book is so clearly written and so full of helpful advice that it was a pleasure to read. Each chapter provides concrete suggestions about how to tap into and trust the intuitive insights that we all have, but often fail to recognize and take seriously. I'm waiting for the book to come out in a soft cover so that I can carry it around with me regularly as I did when I first read it because I find myself needing and using the tools in the book everyday!
