Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
Praise for The Truth About Sex

“Can a book about sex convict you and at the same time liberate you? Can it instruct you while encouraging you? Can it help you contain your thought life while increasing your imagination for sex with your partner? Can it help you resolve your past and usher you into a future with deeper and richer levels of intimacy? The Truth About Sex does all of that and more.”
–Stephen Arterburn, coauthor of the Every Man series

“When it comes to the subject of sex, nothing is more needed than a bold, reasoned, and truthful voice. Kay Arthur, in her down-to-brass-tacks yet grace-filled way, is that voice of biblical truth. Read this book for yourself, and give it to teens and singles. They will thank you for it.”
–Dr. Tim Alan Gardner, author of Sacred Sex and The Naked Soul

The Truth About Sex is the most comprehensive treatise I have ever read on the subject of sex from a biblical perspective. For those who endeavor to live a life of sexual integrity this is a must-read!”
–Chris Burge, coauthor of His Rules

“My friend Kay Arthur has done it again: she’s mined Scripture and uncovered a treasure trove of God-planted wisdom and instruction. In The Truth About Sex Kay shows us the warning signs along the path. She shows us the pitfalls of sex outside marriage. And she reminds us of the promises of sex as God intended it to be.”
—Max Lucado, best-selling author and senior minister, Oak Hills Church, San Antonio

    great book

this book will open your eyes to what sex was really meant to be. sex was not created by God to be what it is normally portrayed as in today's society. I've always had questions that it seemed no one had answers to but this book did. I am sharing what I learned with my teenage daughter. sex is sacred. our bodies are not our own. sex is meant to be good... actually great... inside of marriage. and this book tells you how to get there.
