Overview

What happens after we die? This question has puzzled humankind for thousands of years. Many religions have specific beliefs about life after death, but belief is not based on fact. Now, Ray Buckland, a renowned authority on the occult, reveals the secrets of the afterlife in The Truth About Spirit Communication.

In this book you will find out what mediums are doing to contact the spirits of departed friends and relatives. You will learn about the different types of mediums and how their abilities differ from one another. You will even learn about the most unusual and rarest type of medium, the physical medium, who may actually produce sounds or objects from the spirit world.

If you are interested in learning how to directly communicate with spirits, this book will show you how you can become your own medium. You'll learn beginning exercises and then specific techniques, such as how to use a talking board (such as a Ouija board), table tipping, and even automatic writing.

Unfortunately, there have been cases of fraudulent mediums. This book details when and where fraud has occurred and what to look for, so you can be assured that a medium is genuine.

People have been communicating with spirits since the dawn of human civilization. It is not "crazy" to be curious about the spirit world. In fact, it is said that when Thomas Edison died, he had been working on a device designed to allow people to communicate with the dead. Perhaps someday such a device will be perfected, but until then, The Truth About Spirit Communication is your guide to this fascinating practice.

Read an Excerpt

When I was young, I thought I was invincible. Most young people do. To test myself, I spent one winter with the window to my bedroom wide open. If you live in Florida or Arizona, that may not sound like much of a big deal. But here, in Minnesota, it would be below freezing for weeks. It is amazing what people will do when they are young.

As I have grown older, I have come to accept my mortality. That is why I want to know what will happen to me-my soul or spirit-after my body dies.

I think that the best way to learn about this is to find out what has happened to others who have already crossed over. This process is called communicating with spirits through people known as mediums. The best introduction to the world of the spirits can be found in The Truth About Spirit Communication. This book was written by Ray Buckland, a leading authority on the occult.

If you have ever seen a movie about Houdini or heard some debunkers, you'll know that there has been self-deception or even fraud in the world of mediums. Ray doesn't ignore this fact, but he does point out that much of what various mediums have done remains unexplained by the doubters. Then he shows you simple, direct techniques so you can learn to be your own medium. He even includes listing of other books so you can get deeper into the subject.

Learning the truth about what happens when we die is a great comfort to the living. Death is not something to be feared. It is merely a transition from one phase of life to the next.
