About the Author

Andrew Bombeck’s most significant accomplishment hasn’t been scanning the globe for the past 40 years to document unfortunate travel, but rather his wife, Shari, and 19—year—old son, Michael, who have tolerated him for the last 20. When not plotting future adventures, Andy entertains himself by irritating the homeless playing the guitar and singing “This Land Is Your Land” and Bob Marley songs in the dining room of a shelter. He also promotes organ and tissue donation, plays tennis, and hikes when not injured. Mr. Bombeck’s greatest hope isn’t world peace, but someday, Michael Bombeck will read this book dedicated to him.
