    fast, mindless vampire novel

Parker Blue's Underground Series, which includes the titles Bite Me, Try Me, and Fang Me, left me with a feeling of lost time. Sentences tended to be choppy, and the characters were two-dimensional at best. Continual references to Buffy the Vampire Slayer made me want to bang my head against the wall at times. Check them out if you are looking for fast, mindless vampire novels.

I liked Try Me even better than Bite Me. The characters seemed a bit more fleshed out and less one dimensional. Val and Shade made an interesting couple but Fang and Princess rocked the book. The plot was enjoyable and kept me in suspense until the end.

Again I will say that I consider this to be an older YA book. The scenes between Val and Shade were a bit too sexy for younger readers. You really got to see the succubus for what she is and what she can do. Like I said, not something I think younger YA readers should read about. I rate Try Me four smiles:

    2nd book good as 1st

Try Me is the second book in the series Demon Underground. It starts 3 days after the end of Bite Me. We learn a lot about their world and the different demons in it.
Val is still working with the special unit of the police dept. But now they all know she is part demon some accept her some don't.
Dan is having problems dealing with Lola.
Miacah tells Val that since the special book that told about the demons world was lost they don't know a lot about the different demons and their powers.
Val hears the name and told him that she has had the book since she was 5 and did not know it was the only copy. She never felt their power or even read it through it. So she takes them to Micah but that evening when the vampires and demons meet for a discussion about comming out the books are taken.
Their is a lot of tension between the vampires and demons and someone is poisoning the vampires.
Val is learning more about her powers and how to control Lola. As she tries to find the book and keep peace between the vampires and demons.
This book was good and I read it straight through. I was given three books of this series and I have so far liked both and look forward to reading book 3 Fang Me.

    Highly Recommended

Try Me is the second book in The Demon Underground series. Val's charter in Bite Me was great, but she blew me away in Try me. She's so much stronger and her character has more depth. I just love female charters that know how to stand up for themselves. Val is definitely no Bella, you won't find her crying over a broken heart or other troubles. Now Dan is the lead guy from the first book. He had me swooning, but in this edition he's a number one jerk. I have to applaud Ms. Blue, she knows how to write a creep. Steam was literally coming out of my ears with Dan. You know its amazing story when you find yourself saying, "Just let me get my hands on that guy." Shade's charter in this book has stepped up to the plate. I didn't see him coming in the first book, but Shade has stolen my heart. With each book the plot becomes more exciting and richer. Can't wait to see where the third book, Fang Me, takes Val, Shade, Dan, and rest of the charters in this series. I would like to say that Parker Blue is amazing author when it comes to writing strong female charters. No matter what comes Val's way, she won't give up, and quit isn't in Val's vocabulary.

    Excellent sequel

I was happy to find a new series to read. The first book (BITE ME) was a little boring to me but in (TRY ME) it really picked up. I loved the entire book. I love reading not only about vampires but all the types of demons. I'm also happy that Val is with Shade and not Dan (hint..hint Parker blue LOL) This is considered YA but i'm in my later 20's and it was mature enough for me. Would recommend it to anyone who likes this genre! Excited to read more!!

    Interesting!

TRY ME by Parker Blue is a paranormal fiction. It is the second in the Demon Underground series. It is a YA novel. It is well written. The characters are easy to follow. It is about demons and vampire, trying to co-exist with humans and each other. You have suspense, romance and mystery. If you enjoy as easy, quick read I would recommend this book. This book was received for review and details can at My Book Addiction and More.

    I Also Recommend:

Try Me is the 2nd book in the series.

Try Me picks up right were you leave it in Bite Me. This book is great for younger reader. But If you are like me just looking fir a great read, this book is for you. The one thing is you have to read Bite Me to get the story in the next book.
