The Tryst by Grace Livingston Hill

A wonderful Christian Inspirational Fiction Story

A Tale of Love, Friendship, Redemption power of God....

Patricia Merrill, richly clad in gray duvetyne with moleskin trimmings, soft shod in gray suede boots, came slowly down the stairs from the third story, fastening her glove as she went. The top button was refractory and she paused in the middle of the stairs to give it her undivided attention. The light from the great ground-glass skylight overhead sifted down in a pool of brightness about her, and gave a vivid touch to the knot of coral velvet in her little moleskin toque. She was a pretty picture as she stood there with that drifting light about her like silver rain, and a wistful look in her eyes and about her lips.

What a wonderful story! Grace Livingston has been able to share the message of Christ through these characters. What a refreshing change the storyline is from today's modern subjects. Although I had difficulty with all of the typographical errors, it wasn't impossible to read between the lines and keep on track with the chain of events. The characters come alive in the book but don't you presume to know what is going to happen next. The story will keep you hooked up until the end. I hope you enjoy it as well as I have.

I could just not finish this. Not only where the typos distracting but from what i read the main girl just seemed too niave. I can understand her sitution but really girl if you are planing to run away pay attention to where you are going!

This version is horrible. There are strange typographic characters, weird spellings, etc. I read many GLH books and this is not the norm. Very disappoimting.

The Tryst would probably be an interesting read if not for all the spelling/typing errors.

This is one of my favorite books by Grace Livingston Hill. I love how she demonstrates how God can use individuals who are wholly devoted to Him. How their words and actions can influence those they come in contact with.
