I truly despise plot spoilers. Please learn how to write a review. Read the others. They are concise and to the point. They do not go into a cliff note book report telling everything that happens. You do not need to do that. Just state if you liked it or not. End of post. Please stop revealing the entire book. Ppl would like to read it and be surprised by what they read, just like you were.

Free book for review. This book is a page turner with lots of twists and turns. My heart went out to Sam when she had her visions. A must read.

You will find this a wonderful book .. love the characters, the story. It is hard to put down, not yet to the finish but I will be sorry to give the characters up. Hope he writes another that include these people.

I've never read any of the authors works before and it is safe to say I will be getting my hands on the rest of his works very soon! Tuesday's Child is a well written and engaging book. I was instantly captivated by the main character and her story. I couldn't put it down. The level of detail was amazing! The author showed you what happened without too much telling. I felt as if I were truly there experiencing what Sam was experiencing. (Which was pretty gruesome)
I would HIGHLY recommend this book. It is an absolute must read for me. I don't typically read suspense/ thriller type of books but I will always make an exception when it comes to Dale Mayer.

Samantha Blair has had an unbelievably difficult life, and her all-encompassing psychic nightmares do not help. She will wake up covered in blood and exhausted, having just experienced a victim's torment and often death.
There's a serial killer loose on the area, but she can't get the police to view her with anything but suspicion. She finally finds one detective, Brandt Sutherland, who is willing to give her a chance to try and stop a killer, before he can kill her.

Struggling with her psychic abilities, not just mentally, but physically as each victim's wounds manifest on her own body. She fears that the next attack will lead to her death as well. She would do anything to help, and when Detective Sutherland finds out about her abilities a deep secret from her past rears its ugly head.
Detective Sutherland finds Samantha's ability both a god-send and a problem. While he truly believes in psychic abilities, he knows how the public will react if they ever found out that she was helping to solve a serial murder. As the case escalates, and more deaths are uncovered, Sutherland finds himself drawn in an entirely new way to Samantha. He only hopes that he can help her gain some control over her ability before its too late.
The story unfolds quickly and I was caught up in wanting to find out what Samantha was going to do right away. I wasn't nearly as fond of Sutherland. he seemed to be a bit of a stereotype police officer, with the exception of believing in psychics. He was quite the "macho man" and it grated on me a bit at times.
As one of Dale Mayer's first forays into the genre, it was very good story. I have read a few of Mayer's other books (reviews coming shortly), and I see only good and better things to come.

Loved this book. Main characters were well developed and likeable. Keeps you on the edge of your seat from the very first page. Can't wait till the second in the series.

Review:
5 Stars! Once again I am totally enamored with the tale woven by Dale Mayer.
Samantha Blair is a woman with a past and a terrifying talent. She is a psychic, and has been kicked by her life for as long as she can remember. Even though her life has been filled with turmoil and pain she is still a strong independent woman who wants to live a normal life.
Detective Brandt Sutherland is a strong and stubborn man who is trying to put together a new task force to hunt down a serial killer that has been stalking women across the country for decades. Little does he know that what he needs is hidden under a baggy sweater and behind huge doe-like eyes.
My personal favorite character has to be Maisey. She is Brandt's mother, and is one heck of a fiery senior citizen. When she isn't running betting pools at the nursing homes she is getting into mischief with her "partner in crime" the Colonel.
Note: There is one very well written and sweet romantic scene in the book. Not at all vulgar but very vividly written it does a wonderful job of showing the passion that flows between Sam and Brandt.
Tuesday's Child is a fantastic read. The concept behind the story , and the concept behind Sam's powers is interesting and realistically written. You can really feel her dilemma about talking to people about her gifts. The story flows well and keeps the readers interest from the first page to the last.
Filled with vivid details, endearing characters and a fantastic story I would definitely recommend Tuesday's Child to everyone

This story caught me from the first page, just as Sam is caught in the body of the victims in the last minutes of their lives and experiences what they do. Wounds and all. Sam's body heals, but emotionally, she's damaged. It's not the first time she's felt this killer's energy. Because he changes his method with every kill, the police don't know he's a serial killer. Only one cop, Detective Brant Sutherland, is willing to investigate. When he starts to believe her, the game changes. The stakes go up, in every way. Both of these characters were so great. They made me feel for them, especially Sam - though Brant was a great character himself. If there were a modern-day Lancelot, with a true and brave heart, that would be Brant. I loved Sam's affinity with dogs, how she connected to the damaged animals, and how it was important to the book. I believe this is going to be a series, and I'm already eager to read the next one.

When the killer strikes, Samantha Blair experiences the attack as if she were the woman being targeted. Terrified by her visions, she knows she has to share her knowledge with the police. But will they believe her?
I found Sam to be a heroine I wanted to root for as well as protect. She's a waif, and there's a vicious killer stalking her. But Sam is stronger than she appears, and I loved watching Brandt as he came to terms with her psychic abilities. Some wonderful secondary characters round out the cast of this chilling story. I don't often read books that could give me nightmares, but after I finished the first scene, I found it impossible to put the book down. It's clear why it was finalist in the Brava Writing With The Stars Contest. Here's looking forward to many more wonderful stories by Dale Mayer.

This read was a little different than what I normally get into, but the beautiful cover pulled me, so I had to read it. I'm so glad I did. Tuesday's Child sent chills up my spine. Sam is a beautiful, twenty-eight-year-old woman, who works for a veterinarian hospital. She would rather be around animals than people since she's psychic. Sam's psychic gifts are more of a curse than a gift as she feels what her victims feel. And she not only sees violence, but experiences it, too. This is how she meets the one man who will be strong enough to love her. Detective Brandt Sutherland, who's been chasing a sick, sadistic serial killer for ten years. Sam goes to the police to tell them about her visions, even if this could make her a suspect.Brandt is ready to take any kind of help he can get to catch the serial killer. He just wasn't ready to lose his heart in the process. The storyline is strong and well-developed. Dale Mayer did a fantastic job. Being inside the mind of a serial killer can't be easy, but she did so amazingly, and scared me with how well she did this. lol. The romance between Sam and Brandt is beautiful. The way Brandt wants Sam to laugh and feel loved in her live after all she's ever known is torment, truly made my heart pound. Tuesday's Child will also touch the hearts of animal lovers with one special German Shepherd named Soldier. He becomes women's best friend. Tuesday's Child will have you shivering in this thriller. I recommend it as a must read!

This is an interesting read if you like criminal mysteries laced with the paranormal. I liked it and it kept me interested. It was well written and I liked the way the author didn't play games by withholding clues in order to give you a shocking twist. At least for me, it is more satisfying to be informed as I go. There is still enough mystery and tension....really. It was simply a good story.
