When I ordered Chad Carpenter's Tundra book I didn't expect the beautifully colored illustrations. The humor is quite good and relates well to people who live in the West or are familiar with wilderness areas. I enjoyed the book so much that I order another as a gift for folks in Idaho where it was a hit.

She cat. Black with white specks that make her look just like the night sky. Has no kits or mate. Can jump really high and can catch birds easily. Would like a small active clan.

Walks in and asks Sunstar, "I got two more foxskins. How many more do you think we need?" He says to Ivystar, "That's already been settled. Sunstar agreed to be called Wiseclan until we had the numbers to retaliate," she said, giving Sunstar an ice cold glare.

A carateristic comic full of fun and action.

Chad Carpenter has a WONDERFULLY sick, yet very FUNNY sense of humor. There are quite a few comics in here, purely sight gags, no words needed to make you laugh. To be honest, his bear mauling campers, hikers, and hunters jokes, are extremely funny. I can't recommend his books enough. I've even tried to get the books sellers to buy and read, (at least read), one of his books.
