Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
In September 1996, rap singer Tupac Shakur was cut down in a barrage of bullets. To his fans, the violent death of this New York City-born pop icon only solidified his mythic status. Tupac Shakur Legacy recapitulates the short life and performing career of this inner-city folk hero in an ephemera-enhanced scrapbook similar to that of The Bob Dylan Scrapbook and Lennon Legend.

Not just an authorized bio but a scrapbook, with family photos, lyrics, poems, and an audio CD, packaged by former Black Panther Joseph, now a professor in Columbia's graduate film division. Copyright 2006 Reed Business Information.

This book i felt started off very slow. It was very hard to follow at the beginning of the book when the author is throwing out all this information on historic events.I wish they would have spread the facts out more throught the book. Overall the book was really intersting, i learned things i have never know about Tupac and im even a big fan. As you read the book the author does a good job of making you feel almost connected to Tupac. If you enjoy Biographys and are a fan or even want to learn more about Tupac this is a must read.

    no words could express

You would have to find or borrow this book to experience how close you begin to feel with this young man when you read about him. i have had the priviledge of meeting tupac once in the early nineties while i was growing up in oakland california and the feeling that overcame me was just as intense as that moment i was blessed with his presence. a book to keep and share with people of all cultures and ages. garland horton. youth counselor.
