One more Turkish step for Konemann

This book on Turkish Cuisine is carefully edited and fantastic. Possibly the worlds first fusion cooking by a deserving empire. All I want now is a book on Turkey in the Culinaria series. Totally disregard views based on hatred for everything Turkish. Enjoy the culture.

    A reviewer

I bought this book curious to find what exactly I could learn about Turkish food and what makes it Mediteranean. The book is a flawed term to begin with , Turkish cuisine is a mish mosh of Mediteranean dishes from Venetians, Armenians, Greeks,Spaniards , Arabs, and the Traditional fair that migrating Turkish hordes brought out of the steppes namely Yogurt or yougurt sauce. Big deal , nothing original, figs and honey and grapes and olives are indegenous to that region and were used by the original inhabitants of the area, namely the Greeks, Carians and Armenians nothing new or original , turkish food is based on the same ingredients they adopted from the Indegenous and captive peoples of Asia Minor.
