April held her breath and snuck up the apartment's stairs. Venus was behind her. April's back was pressed agaist the banister. It was beginning to hurt. Venus was quick and stealthy, as she had said. It was funny. Venus was completely untrained, but had managed to sneak upstairs without making a single noise. April, however, a trained kunoich, was out of breath and was sure her father could hear her. At long last, they reached April's tiny bedroom.
"Sorry,Venus," April whispered,"I have to leave you here for a few minutes. I have to eat dinner. I'll try to bring you some."
Venus nodded and gave her a thumbs up. April silently closed the door and walked downstairs again.
"April! Can you come set the table?" Mr. O'Neil called.
"Sure, Dad,"April replied. She opened their drawer of silverware and placed a fork on either side of the table.
"So, April, what did you do today?" Mr O'Neil asked.
"The usual: School, homework. . . ."
Mr. O'Neil raised an eyebrow, "Did you visit the turtles today?"
April sighed. "Yeah. But, Dad, it was just for a little bit and-"
Mr. O'Neil held up his hand, "April, I don't care if you visit them from time to time. I would just perfer if you had other friends. I mean, they're mutants!"
"But they're nicer than most of the girls I've met, if not all. And they treat me like I'm part of their family." April looked up at her father, "And think of all the things they've done for us! You would still be a mutant bat if it weren't for them!" Mr. O'Neil sighed.
"April, you're old enough now to understand this. You shouldn't mess around with strange people. Who knows: maybe the mutagen affected the turtle's brains so that they're complete maniacs."
"Maybe YOU'RE the maniac, Dad." April regretted saying those words the second they came out of her mouth. She grimanced. "I'm gonna eat upstairs again, Dad. See you later." With that, April scooped up a heap of spaghetti onto her plate and trudged upstairs to her bedroom, where a mutant turtle was waiting hungrily.
- - - - AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hello everybody. The next part is on the next res. And remember: comments are writer chow.
Lots of friendly punches,
NinjaNerd &hearts

The book could have more info inside the book like any other book that we read thes days. Like lets say for a example say we are reading a book called all about cats to say it gives a lot of information a about cats and this one dose not give a whole book about turtles at all.
