Born in Havana, Cuba, Connie Keenan has penned several romance novels, including THE COP AND THE MERMAID, AND THEN CAME YOU, and FASCINATION. SUBURBAN VAMPIRES, a romantic comedy, and THE GHOST OF LITTLE BAY, a mystery, are two books written for teens. Writing as Consuelo Vazquez, her works include SALSA KISS, SEA SIREN, and LEADING LADY. Her short stories have appeared in women's magazines. Currently, she lives in North Carolina with her husband, Bill.

    Quick & Holiday Read

    This was a cute Christmas story. Don't judge the story by the cover. It was a sweet wonderful read of a Christmas romance.

    Spy story

    Cute story about a young middle aged widowed grandmother and a retired spy. Nice little holiday romance, not anywhere near as racy as the cover suggests. A good read, but it did end abruptly-way too abruptly. Otherwise very enjoyable.

    Drew me in but...

    I did enjoy this book ...the characters are lovable. I think it would make a great series. But, I was left hanging when it ended. I want more. Without other stories to follow up on the characters...it needed more.

    It has great potential.

    Good story line as a start. Brings up the possibility that the secrets that surround these characters are possible in any community. Maybe even in your town!

    Wish there was more to it

    This story was cute, but short. I wish it would have been longer. There were a few grammatical errors, but they weren't so bad that it distracted from the story.
