More About This Book

Overview

Tweaky, the hummingbird, is a fictional character who helps make the Bible story of Miriam come alive. Sing Tweaky's song and read his story and then read the true story from the Bible in Exodus
1 and 2. As you know, Tweaky is a fictional character that is not in the Bible, but Tweaky enhances this story. Miriam is frightened when her mother makes a basket and puts baby brother in the bulrushes.
I'm sure she was upset when she saw him being pulled from the water. Tweaky helped her stay calm so she could decide what to do. She was brave when she suggested her mother for his nurse.
God puts us in situations sometimes when we can help others. We just have to be willing to be used.
Your child will enjoy Tweaky's story. As they sing his song, Tweaky becomes a comfort to them. What better way to get children interested in reading the
Bible than through getting involved in the Bible story.
They will want to read the true account from the
Bible and learn about Miriam and Moses. They will want other books about Tweaky and children from the Bible. Start a collection for you and your child-
you will want the whole set.

    Wonderful picture Bible story

I loved this story about baby Moses and Miriam. How unique to give us the perspective from Miriam's point of view. What a great addition to my library of Christian books for children.
