Tweaky, the hummingbird, is a fictional character who helps make the Bible story of Samuel come alive. Sing Tweaky's song and read his story and then read the true story from the Bible in I Samuel 1 - 3. As you know, Tweaky is a fictional character that is not in the Bible, but Tweaky enhances this story. The Biblical account is mostly about Hannah, Samuel's mother.

Overview

Tweaky, the hummingbird, is a fictional character who helps make the Bible story of Samuel come alive. Sing Tweaky's song and read his story and then read the true story from the Bible in I Samuel 1 - 3. As you know, Tweaky is a fictional character that is not in the Bible, but Tweaky enhances this story. The Biblical account is mostly about Hannah, Samuel's mother. Nothing is said about how Samuel felt when his mother left him at the temple. Our story focuses on Samuel and his feelings. I'm sure he was afraid when his mother abandoned him at the temple. He felt humiliated when Eli's sons teased him. God knew Samuel and he had a plan for Samuel's life just as He has plans for our lives. We just have to be quiet and listen to Him speak.
Your child will enjoy Tweaky's story. As they sing his song, Tweaky becomes a comfort to them. What better way to get children interested in reading the Bible than through getting involved in the Bible story. They will want to read the true account from the Bible and learn about Samuel. They will want other books about Tweaky and children from the Bible.
Start a collection for you and your child-
you will want the whole set.

The graphics weren't that great and neither was the story. Really wished I hadn't wasted my money.

I loved this Bible story for children. It helps to see things from Samuel's point of view. It makes the story from the Bible come alive with emotions. What a great book for children.
