    Looking for a used sailboat?

This is one of the best sources for information on used cruising sailboats. He has many different types from heavy slow cruisers all the way to fairly fast good in light air cruisers. My biggest complaint is that there are only line drawings of the boats, and they do not always give the keel configuration. It would have been better to have it show the keel on all boats. The book offers concise and clear reviews of the boats. He also gives brief comments from existing owners, but in many cases too brief. His "what to look for" is sometimes lacking individual things for specific models. Overall it is a good book to see the pluses of specific models. I wish the title was 150 sailboats, rather than 20 as there are a lot left out and it makes you wonder why. Were they just overlooked or is there something inherently wrong with them? Over all a good read, just wish there was more criticisms of the boats weaknesses and more boats included.
