This was a good short story all the way up to the last 4 or 5 pages. Then it was unnecessarily tacky & raunchy. Too bad the ending ruined it!

Isabella Douglas is a strong willed woman who refuses to obey the commands of her demanding husband Ian. On the brink of a divorce Isabelle allows her friend to concoct a magical spell that permits the couple to transcend space and time to recapture the love they once knew. The spell serves it's purpose and the two are reunited as one. In the end Isabelle and Ian must make the decision to stay together in the past without modern day luxuries or risk loosing one another by returning to the present.

Ms. Jennifer Jakes has done it again with this steamy little short. Twice in a Lifetime is a great combination of contemporary, historical, time travel fantasy, and romance with enough spice to keep you turning the pages. Curl up on the couch with a cup of cocoa...it doesn't even need to be hot...Jennifer will provide the heat.
Loved it as much as her debut novel, RAFE'S REDEMPTION.
