Read an Excerpt

From haunted cemeteries to demon-infested mountains, from will-o'-wisps to impalpable presences,Colorado has had and still has enough ghosts, gases, and goblins to groan, shriek, and belch in the pages of several volumes. Where there have been men, women, children, dogs, and mules, there are discmbodied spirits of men, women, children, dogs and mules.... Only the most significant ghost sightings and unexplained pheonomena seen or orginating in Colorado's past, prior to the 1920s, appear in this book.  ——from the Preface by MaryJoy Martin
