I have quite a few soundtracks at home and on my iPod but I have to say this is probably the best one. All of the songs are catchy, particularly the first one, 'Supermassive Black Hole.' This soundtrack definitely catches the modern setting of the book/movie, and there are no ballads -- all of them are good, singable, danceable rock songs, with the exception of 'Bella's Lullaby'. Then again, who expects a lullaby to be a rock song? I must admit, I don't particularly care for Robert Pattinson's song 'Never Think' but even that's not that bad. It certainly doesn't make this a bad CD by a LONG shot. This is a GREAT soundtrack. I've had it for less than a week and it's already almost one of my most played CDs.

Overall it is one of my very favorite soundtracks of all times! Good mix of artists and different mood tones. I do, however, wish they had also put the other song that Rob Pattinson sang. The one when Bella got bitten by James and was dying in the ballay studio.

The first song on the cd is one of the best songs on the cd, really makes you want to get up and move. Paramore is of course awesome! Rob's song, is by far, hands down, one of THE most emotional songs I've ever heard before in my life. I almost cry everytime I hear it. Not because it's Rob Pattinson, but because you can feel every ounce of emotion that was put into that song and that he loved it too! Very bluesy sounding. I would recommend this cd to anyone, Twilight fan or not!

Love the Twilight soundtrack.....the music is intense and poetic. My daughter and I listen to it in the house and in the car. Good soul, impressive lyrics, much better than what you hear on the radio.

At first I thought that I would not like this soundtrack, but I bought it and LOVE IT!!! Such cool tunes make up the compolation of music! The Twilight Series is wicked good as well!!!

I love this cd so much. i have listened to it at least 20 times in less than a week. Bella's Lullaby is so sweet and Robert Pattinson's song, Never Think, is so soothing and gentle. Plus the cd has songs that every body knows and it has a romantic song too, Flightless Bird, American Mouth (if I do say so myself). So buy this cd because it does not disappoint.

Especially Bella's Lullaby, Supermassive Blackhole and Eyes on Fire. I could listen to the Twilight soundtrack for hours. Definitely 5 stars!

But putting them all together as the soundtrack to the movie didn't make much sense to me. Listening to the songs, I couldn't picture where the songs would fit in with the movie. It just sounded like the cd was made from the directors IPod that was set on shuffle. Maybe the score to the movie will sound like the music was chosen for a purpose. But that's just me.

I've read all the books, and seen the movie, and this cd, I have to say, really captures your emotions. It is great, beyond reason. While some of the songs I did not enjoy that much, I really loved Bella's Lullaby.<BR/><BR/>I know, I know, a lot of people wanted River Flows In You by Yiruma. And until I heard the actual Bella's Lullaby for the film, I wanted that song too. I have to admit though, Carter Burwell's version of Bella's Lullaby is phenomenal. It is very emotional, I really think that it captures the emotion and intensity that both Edward and Bella have between them. It starts off kind of like, I don't know to explain it, kind of sad and it sounds very upsetting. But then it starts to pick up and turns sweeter in the middle, and towards the end, it's very sweet sounding, but also with a hint of sadness still in it. I think this song was perfect, because it's sad and happy at the same time, and that's how Edward feels about Bella. He's beyond happy to have found the love of his eternity, but he's also very upset that he puts her in so much danger. This song was perfect. Thanks Carter Burwell. It was beautiful.

The song I was most looking forward to was Bella's Lullaby and when I listened to it it just sounded totally wrong. I imagined it as a total piano piece and it wasn't at all. Sad...

I got this album and thought it would be great. It was awful all the tracks are slow and depressing. A first for me that I did not enjoy anything on the album.

When I first heard they were coming out with a soundtrack to Twilight, I was a little concerned as to what songs would be on this. Instead of the sappy love songs and slow beats I assumed would be on here, I found some music by a few of the greatest artists and was very pleased. Paramore's Decode and I Caught Myself are two of my favorite songs on here by far.

I am very excited to get this CD. Stephenie Meyer's writing is highly influenced by music. All her books have their own playlist, and the songs are so intertwined in the story that you can practically hear them playing in the background as you read. I'm curious to see which songs and artists on her twilight playlist makes it to the movie soundtrack. Muse definitely has to be one of them! So far they've released one track- 'Decode' by Paramore- and I love it! I'm also very much looking forward to hearing 'Bella's Lullabye'!

Omg i can't believe the movie is coming so soon this cd is going to be the best because everything twilight is the best i so love this saga it makes me melt meyer is a true artist and now the music is associated with the best books yet i am so happy :0)

This book is an absolute masterpiece! Wonderfully written and very entertaining, the author takes a simple love story to the next level. Who would of thought that a vampire love story would be so entriguing. Either you love it or hate it, but everyone I talk to thinks it's great! I never thought I'd find it very interesting, since I don't get into vampires much, but now I'm hooked. I couldn't read fast enough! I've already read the second and third books as well, and am anxiously waiting to see the third movie! Who knew I'd become a huge fan! I recommend it to anyone who likes to hear a great love story, young or old.

Music is great, but I love the fact that it's an LP. Run out of batteries, no electricity, get a hand crank record player, yep! they are still out there and you can still listen to some really good music!

The songs are the stars when I listen to the soundtrack. Although this album isn't neccessarily instrumental, it isn't lacking in quality! The exciting baseball scene in which Muse's "Supermassive Black Hole" cameos in makes my heart beat faster with adrenaline everytime I hear it. That's the true greatness of this album. There are also others songs from lesser-known artists like "Spotlight" from Mutemath and "Full Moon" from The Black Ghosts that capture the emotions of this film.
