This book was very interesting and suspenseful. My 5th grade students loved it. I highly recommend it to people who like mysteries, suspense, or simply books with a twist ending.
Few authors can catch the same sense of suspense time after time. Ms. Wallace has done so beautifully. 'The Twin In The Tavern' a book that time after time is still a delightfully smart mystery. It's as good the fourth time you read it as it is the first. A must for any Barbara Brooks Wallace fan. If you're not a fan, you will be after reading this.
Great!!! Definatly would suggest you to read it!
It all starts out when Taddy Buntz's aunt and uncle die. He is very afraid that he will be sent to the workhouse because he has become an orphan. Two men come and take the stuff from Taddy's home, like the table and chairs. They take him with them and force him to work at their motel. There he meets Beetle. That is where the story takes off!
