Dr. Le-Bucklin's book covers the information moms-to-be are faced with regarding pregnancy (especially twin pregnancy), labor and delivery and the NICU. She offers a medical perspective, and perhaps the more important "Mom" insights that aren't taught in medical school or pediatrics training. She offers advice and reassurance for parents of multiples that is well-organized and fast reading. I'll recommend her book to my patients' parents.

I have nothing but great things to say about Twins 101. First the size and layout are fantastic. As a single mom, I know how much you want to research all you can when first starting on this journey, but how challenging it can be to find the time to do so. If you pick up this book after the birth of your twins, you can hold it with one hand, (perfect for nursing moms). It's set up in a 'point' fashion so what little time you have with it can be spent absorbing useful tid-bits. After putting it down you don't have to worry about losing your spot when you pick it up again. It gets straight to the goods without bombarding you with a lengthy novel. The information provided here by author/mother/M.D. Khanh-Van Le-Bucklin is great for first timers of multiples. She runs through life during and after your pregnancy and includes tips on how to organize your daily activities to reduce stress and build your confidence as a new parent. I like how she shares with the reader her own feelings and experiences of being a mother of twins. I found the chapters on pregnancy, delivery and neonatal intensive care very thorough and reassuring. This period of time can be quite worrisome for any mother and it's so easy to become overwhelmed. Provided here is a lot of information that can help one understand twin-specific care and situations, so you feel better equipped to make decisions and meet upcoming challenges. She also includes certain tips and techniques that will help you conquer sleeping, changing and feeding schedules. You will learn how to establish a strong relationship with your doctor(s) and how to maintain the one you've already made with your partner. During this time, a parent is faced with making a lot of purchases and this book is a great resource for how to and what to buy while providing the reader with green options. It's wonderful that Dr. Le-Bucklin decided to share her wealth of knowledge with others and there's no better experience than first hand

I am a family therapist and have seen couples with twins. I have recommended this book for them, and will continue to recommend it to friends as well as clients who are expecting or have infant twins. The book is very practical as well as fun to read. The format makes it easy to use. One can refer back to a section easily without having to search through the entire book to find what one is looking for. Highly recommended for M.O.M.s to use and for professionals to give to their patients.

Dr. Le-Bucklin has written a well-organized and easy-to-digest book that is a must-have for parents expecting twins. She combines insightful, personal experiences with her strong medical background to give a blend of information that both educates and entertains. This book addresses many of the questions, worries, and practical considerations that parents of multiples face straight from early pregnancy to infancy and beyond. An excellent reading experience!

After reading this book I came away with a greater sense of life with twins. Things I never thought of were pointed out in an easy to read and understandable format. This is a must have book for any parent, or even grandparent, expecting multiples. The practical advice is handled with grace and warmth, coming from the point of view of being there. This is a book that is relevant and current, like sitting with another parent who has wisdom to share. Teriena Smith
