well i have written a few reviews of this book, and i would just like to let everyone know that this is a fabulous story! I got the book before it hit the stores from the author herself, and from the first few pages i couldnt put it down, , this book is so beautifully written and absorbs you into it from the start. I found myself almost watching a movie in my head as i was reading it. You will feel all emotions while reading this, hatred, sorrow, love, sympathy,and most of all you wont be able to put it down! Buy this book and you wont be sorry and it will have you wanting the sequel to come out as soon as possible like me, hurry sherry! Great Novel!!

Bestt Best Best book I read this year!

I had the pleasure to read Shellys first draaft and this final product is amazing. She has matured in her writing in the lasr few years. In this story she is very descriptive and pulls you in almost immedatly. I like that it is a good cclean read it's acceptable for teens I had my 12year old read it. If you are looking for a book that has a little love some suspense and of coarse thrills i highly recomend this one.

Beautiful story that left me wanting more I cannot wait to read the second book. I received this book for my 21st birthday and instead of going out and acting stupid I started reading this book and it did not disappoint. The only complaint I have is that it ended too soon. If you are considering buying this book stop thinking about it and just do it every minute you delay your purchase is that much longer before you can start reading. It is a religious novel but even it you are not religious you will still enjoy it because the religious aspects are not over baring at all. This story of a young girl in search of freedom from her controlling mother is the definition of a page turner!

Over all the Book was a good read. I enjoyed the story line and fell in love with some of the characters, especially May! I am a very detailed person and I feel there were a few holes, for lack of a better word, in the more minor parts to the story, however the main plot was rather original and addicting. I look forward to seeing more from this Author and see how she grows in her craft.

I was thrilled to get a copy of Twisted Roots! As a homeschooling mother of five children, some of the hardest things to find in the current market are good books for my adolescent children to read. This book was perfect, mingling adventure, romance, thrill, action, and a perfect amount of faith to create a novel worth allowing my children to read. This book doesn't contain foul language or sex (two issues that seem to permeate the current "suggested" reads for kids of an adolescent age and older). Shelly has a wonderful way of placing you directly in the scene, offering a tantalizing use of most senses. You can picture yourself standing beside Jessica, feeling her feelings. I cannot wait for more books from this author, as I can see her high standards of ethics and morality in her writings! Get the book, sit back, and be captivated for a time...you won't want to put it down!!!

You fall in love with some characters and hate a few, You also have characters that you pity and want to save. The story draws you in and you can't put it down. I read it in a week and want the sequel so bad. Shelly has an amazing writer and I am can hardly wait to see where she takes this series and what she can cook up next.

Wow! I was hooked after reading the first page! I just couldn't put the book down. Frankly, I was so intrigued that curiosity about got the best of me before I got to the end! Shelly is an awesome writer. Her writing style draws you into the storyline and you begin to feel like you are part of the plot. I eagerly await the next book by this talented author!
