Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
In this sequel to Miss Hartwell's Dilemma , Dunn follows the fortunes of two men left unattached in the earlier book. Bertram, Lord Pomeroy, the rejected lover, and George Winterbourne, the brother of his rival, become involved with the Sutton sisters, Claire and Lizzie. In spite of the interference of their families, and wary of one another, the two Corinthians gradually discover their true loves. The plot may be predictable, but Dunn creates some interesting characters and shows a deft touch with the Regency genre. Light but satisfying reading.-- Barbara E. Kemp, Columbia Univ. Libs.
