SHE TURNS A CORNER IN TIME!

When twenty-year-old Amanda Brewster takes her grandmother’s place at a Mardi Gras parade in contemporary Galveston, she finds she cannot escape her grief over the recent death of her relative. But little does Amanda expect to be met by a handsome, mysterious gentleman in Prince Albert attire. When the masterful stranger kisses her, Amanda is enraptured both physically and emotionally, and reality recedes around her.
Suddenly Amanda finds herself transported from the Strand in Galveston, Texas, to the Strand in 1851 London, England! There Amanda is wooed by her dashing, enigmatic rescuer, Justin Cartwright, Earl of Lockridge. Even as Amanda discovers the wonders of 1850's British society life and the splendors of an old-fashioned courtship, she questions whether she and Justin can ever transcend the hurts and fears haunting them both. Will these two anguished hearts find love and healing as they seek their rightful place in time together - forever?

    Charming and Poignant

Eugenia has done it again, spinning a heart wrenching tale of love and loss and the possiblity that at any moment you could meet your other half, your "split apart" (Plato).

    Great time-travel book

This is one of Ms. Riley's best books and the tale is thoroughly enchanting all the way through with finely-drawn characters, a deucedly delightful plot, and, of course, the romance. Plus, being from Texas, appreciate very much her fine attention to research and detail. Let's hope more of her books find their way into a Kindle/ebook.

    Great

This is a great short story. Loved the way the author brought Amanda and Justin together. Amanda was all alone, orphaned when young and her grandmother died recently.
She meets Justin on a foggy street in Galveston Tx. A kiss between them happens and before Amanda knows what has happened she is in England .
