Meet the Author

Daniel G. Amen, M.D., is an award-winning psychiatrist, researcher, author and speaker. He is the medical director of the Center for Effective Living in Fairfield, California, which specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families in their day-to-day lives. He is the author of five other books, including Don't Shoot Yourself in the Foot, and has appeared on radio, television and in newspapers across the country. In addition to private practice, he lectures widely on relationships.
