About the Author

Sarah Kanter has a master’s in counseling psychology from Northwestern University.

Her writing is inspired by the desire to help readers think differently while enjoying reading a fictional story. She wrote the first few chapters as a short story for her mother after her father passed away. After her mother’s passing, 24 years later, the story was found again, and Sarah was inspired to complete the novel.

Sarah’s professional career is in new product development, where she is uses her understanding of psychology to understand her customers and identify solutions to meet their needs. Sarah and her husband adopt senior dogs that need a loving and peaceful home for the remainder of their lives. She enjoys reading on the deck while the dogs explore the yard.
