Mr. Giuliano's book is a reminder that Lennon and McCartney stand beside Marx and Engels, Smith and Wesson, Casius Clay and Sonny Liston, as the most intense heterosexual pairing of two men in modern history. -- New York Observer

    Interesting & lucid

The book 'two of us'describes the often thorny relationship between John Lennon & Paul Mccartney-possibly the greatest songwriting & musical partnership of all time.It does go sequentially through the events, brings out the differences in the personalities of John & Paul and the bewilderment of the other two beatles.Perhaps it overdoes the 'differences'part-surely no people can be so successful if they hated each other so much!A little bit of 'cream'to sell the book perhaps! But still a lucid & interesting book.
