"Agent Belladonna" is set in1922 Dublin, having the owner of Victorian clothing store as the agent in the middle of the Irish Rebellion. The story becomes a fascinating view of the Irish Patriots that led a guerrilla war on the English Occupation Forces, and the winning of a truce that gains Irish Independence. The second story is set in the Mexican Revolution of 1910-1920, with the main characters deeply involved in the military struggle. After meeting each other, the main characters put all the bellicose actions behind them and concentrate on building a new economic world for themselves and their neighbors. The book covers engagements from Chihuahua, Zacatecas, Celaya, and ends along a market road near the port of Tampico. Love in the middle of a revolution is always complicated, as you will see in this totally encompassing perspective of a unique time in Mexican history.
