This is the second book in the PSL series, and I have to say that the more I read the installments of this spinoff series, the more I'm thinking I may like them even more than the original Pantera series (blasphemy, I know). Ely is my new spirit animal, hands down. She's strong and fierce despite her rough life. Max is a fighter, both literally and figuratively. Together they are the balm each other needs to heal their physical and emotional wounds, and a compustible combination that burns up the sheets.

Book 2 in the Bayou Heat spin-off series, you can read this series without having read the original series however, I highly recommend them. I was intrigued by the little glimpses of Elyon we received in book 1 so I was happy to spend more time with her in this novella. I love that there is an elite female Pantera. This story didn't feel as connected to the main Bayou Heat story line as the last but the ending has me wanting the next one immediately. I can't wait to see what happens next and I am looking forward to spending time with the remaining members of the 6.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast quick read that kept you hooked. The only downfall is it ends to fast making you want more. But if I had my way it would be a 1000 pages and still not be enough. Lol. I really enjoyed Max and Elyon. I really can't wait to see what happens next. A great read by Laura Wright.

Loved this one! Elyon is kickass! Part of the PSL she's one tough cookie. Second story in this short spinoff series to the main Pantera books this gets straight into the story. Elyon is sent to retrieve the next asset and finds herself face to face with her mate Max. Max is hot! Elyon thinks so and so did I! His description sounded perfect and the chemistry between these too was off the charts! I read this even quicker than the first book, nothing complicated about it, seems to be more about the individuals involved than the actual overall story. I think we're heading to some big reveal in terms of how important these assets are to the main storyline. Another good story from these two!
