Mark Phillips was born in Southfield, Michigan. He fell in love with the written word at an early age, devouring the Hardy Boys mysteries. After graduating to adult books, Mark's influences were: Stephen King, John Steinbeck, Kurt Vonnegut and Elmore Leonard.
Mark is the author of Beneath the Mask of Sanity and the sequel Beyond the Mask.
He lives in Livonia, Michigan with his wife and their three children.
