Dabei möchte ich mich auf der Grundlage einer Internetrecherche nach einer kurzen Vorstellung des Landes Schweden mit folgenden Fragestellungen beschäftigen:
a)Welche sozialen Sicherungssysteme gibt es im Allgemeinen für den einzelnen Bürger und im Besonderen für Familien?
b)Wie ist in Schweden Familie und Beruf vereinbar?
c)Welche Folgen hat die schwedische Familienpolitik im Kontext des modernen Wohlfahrtsstaates?
d)Wie wird in Schweden Einkommen erzielt?
e)Wird die Frau in Schweden diskriminiert?
f)Wie betroffen sind Familien von Armut?

In dieser Hausarbeit beschäftige ich mich weniger mit Entwicklungen. Viel mehr möchte ich den aktuellen Stand der Herausforderungen und Möglichkeiten der Familien und Lebensgemeinschaften aufzeigen.
Die Rolle der Väter und Männer in Familien und Partnerschaften wird in der vorliegenden Arbeit eher am Rand behandelt, bzw. sie schimmert immer wieder zwischen den Zeilen durch. Zum einen, weil in der vorhanden Literatur relativ wenig berichtet wurde und zum anderen, weil es den Rahmen einer Hausarbeit in diesem Umfang sprengen würde.
