Overview

Most people do not believe in witches, vampires, dragons and many more creatures from fairy tales. Ryan Krazer does not believe in these myths, he is the myth. Ryan is what is known as ubyr. The word ubyr comes from the Turkic language and in English literally means witch. It is said that ubyr was adapted by other European languages and eventually made it to English as Vampire before today’s meaning of the word was known. Ryan comes from another planet in another galaxy known as Vamporian. It is where the mistranslation came from. On Earth he poses as a sixteen year old boy who attends a school for witchcraft in Sydney Australia. His three best friends Tara Fisher, Rachel Sullivan and Simon Sullivan do not know him to be anything more than your average male witch. On Earth Ryan is what they class as a Vampire, though they do not believe in vampires. On Earth those from Vamporian are seen to be blood drinkers and evil, although in Ryan’s world, blood from humans is outlawed and often punishable by death.

For sixteen years the only complication Ryan has contended with is finding the audacity to make a move on the girl of his dreams through the past year. Ryan’s Royal Vamporian family are in disarray. His brother threatens war on both Earth and Vamporian and is set on involving his younger sibling. As Ryan battles his love for a girl in his group, Tara, he is also fighting a losing battle to keep the truth about himself hidden. His teenage romance starts to take off while all else is falling apart around him. His three best friends will help in battles with his brother in space, on another planet and on Earth. There are many obstacles along the way both Human and not. Ryan will discover as much as been kept from him as he has kept from his friends. Returning to their quiet magical lives comes undone when their friend Dennis becomes the first known survivor of the vampire bite before Rachel’s story begins.
