1001 Challenging Puzzles - a great improvement course!

This is the absolute number one puzzle book in my view. Brilliant for training in tactics, and for warming up mentally before important games. It starts off with 100 easy examples, and then the standard of difficulty gradually increases until the final chapter - The Ultimate Challenge. The game examples chosen are original and appropriate, and the publisher has computer verified all positions for accuracy.
