Bendis and Sandoval have always been such a good team and that is showcased here. While the book would have been much better served as one 12 issue title they still present a cohesive story. There a ton of characters but at no time does it seem like anyone gets lost in the mix. The standouts here are Sue and Jessica. Bendis does such a great such of writing strong female characters. Overall, a very fun trip into the Ultimate universe.

when it comes to event storytelling this books does it right from the story to the characters involved everything feels epic finally a story of the downfall of hero where nothing seems forced to see that maybe these young heroes dont have what it takes to be the hero they could be or might have been thses shows just how much of the departure ultimate is from the marvel 615 bendis is great at the pacing of the story and dialouge of the characters where everyone has their own uniue voice and Sandoval shows he born to draw epice pages and action scences but shine when it comes to show the torture of betryal relief humor and over all human condition of coming of age in the ultimate universe
