    Great resource for those looking to take their martial arts to the next level

    I bought this book after 2 years of taekwondo training. I knew that flexibility and range of motion was limiting my progress. This book gave me a plan to overcome these hurdles and has been a great resource for my training and conditioning.

    EXCELLENT for ALL ATHLETES

    What I love most about this book, is there are sections where you can look up particular stretches for your situation. For Example, if you have back injuries there are stretches for that, if you are a boxer, there is a recommended stretching routine for you, if you are a wrestler, martial artist, it's all broken down to give you the most effective stretching, to prevent injury.

    This book is awesome!

    This book contains nearly 200 exercises along with wonderful photography and illustrations and explanations that present what amounts to anatomy and physiology lessons for each muscle presented. There are tips, workout plans, warm-ups and cool downs, and exercises divided into diffulty levels, low, moderate, and high. Benefits of each exercise and martial arts applications, and how to performs, are given and everything is written clearly. This is a great reference to be returned to over and over again. A must have for the Martial Artist.

    Good reference

    This book is very good for beginers starting out in martial arts and find themselves not as flexible as the rest of the students in the Dojo. Many different ways to perform the splits are offered in the book for those who are willing to push themselves.Also recommmend 'The BackSMart Fitness Plan' written by an doctor and competive black belt, shows some very effective stretches using a ladder and good midsection work to toughen up your midsection. Both books helped out many martial art students.
