I am an American who has spent a great deal of time living in the South of France since 2005. However, I now find myself back in America and not only do I want to keep the French I have mastered, but I intend to improve my grammar and verb fluency. This book gives a great and thorough review of French grammar. Every time I work in it, I learn something I did not know. The exercises are super for putting into use the material you have learned or wish to practice. It is well organized so that it can be used as a grammar book or verb conjugator. However, if you are a real novice, please know that this is called "The Ultimate French Review and Practice" because it is not a learning tool for beginners. It has 21 pages of idiom review and covers all the verb tenses through the Past Subjunctive. After spending two hours looking at every book available, I purchased this book, just to find that I had already selected an earlier addition of it once before but I had left it in France.
