All Music Guide - Steve Leggett

The first part of Marvin Gaye's easy and irresistible "Got to Give It Up" is here, and while space and length restrictions undoubtedly precluded using the full track, one wishes it could have been included in its entirety. That one complaint aside, Ultimate Funk brings it from start to finish, and is a quick and easy way to get da funk into da house.
