I rate this read 5\5 for it's great information it has to offer. I'm in the DEP for the Air Force waiting for my shippment date to come and this book has come in very handy. There are a lot of nifty tips and tricks that I will be memorizing to help me in boot. My Dad was in the Air Force and he confirms that a lot of what is said in this book will greatly help anyone who is looking to join.

Everyone's BMT experience is going to be different. Each squadron and MTI has their own style. That being said though this book is not entirely accurate (especially with recent training reforms) but there are some useful tips. Read with a grain of salt. Memorize creed, rank, chain of command structure and how to 'report as ordered'. Try and learn some marching. They will teach you everything you need to know, so don't worry. There is a reason they call it training. Best of luck
