This book is great, it's got everything you could ever possibly need to survive out in the wild (well, atleast Army style anyways.) It covers everything from shelters to plants (medicinal and edible): even combat techniques, which I though was particularly appealing. The whole book is well researched and very reliable, and best of all the author doesn't try to BS you; he tells the facts and leaves it at that. In fact, the only thing I could say against this book is that the pictures aren't all that great; they're old, black and white photography and illustrations. Nevertheless, overall this is a great book to have in your library if your in the Army, an enthusiast or just plain interested.
An excellent resource for anyone interested in survival techniques.
