STEP 1: read the book STEP 2: re-evaluate your life

This book was very interesting. As per the other comment here, definately wish I had read BEFORE my career started. Should be required reading for 1Ls.

    Best law career book

I wish I had access to a book such as this when I was going through law school. Cannon's truly unusual breadth of experience across different legal functions and practice areas gives him an extraordinary vantage point from which to comment on the profession. His book is replete with astute observations and practical advice.
