Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
The latest collection from the editors of Paper Crafts magazine is a compendium of projects in a variety of styles from whimsical to elegant, and color palettes that range from pastel to bold. The focus here is on handmade cards, but scrapbookers and other paper crafters will find inspiration and tips. Directions and supply lists are provided for each card, but crafters will need experience in the fundamentals of paper crafting to re-create the projects. VERDICT The directions are sometimes vague, but the variety of styles represented in this collection makes it a good value.

I have been waiting for months and months for this book to becom

I have been waiting for months and months for this book to become availabile. All the writeups I found led me to believe this "handbook" would be an invaluable resource. When I finally received a copy, it was nothing as I expected. I subscribe to Paper Crafts magazine, and this book is basically a re-presentation of pages I've seen in the magazine, just catecorized under different headings. The cards shown are varied and quite beautiful, but the directions are really scant. And cards are really all you will see, despite the misleading title. I had really hoped this would be a resource filled with clear, thorough explanations of paper crafting techniques.
